The Mary and Stuart Story My practice responds to the concept of the lost identity as a visual representation of; what happens to ones identity after death. I concentrate on the importance of the family album, in the form of an autobiographical documentation of an individual or group, particularly concentrating around the constructed family identity of Mary (1946-present) and Stuart (1944-2012). Using mixed media and personal photography I challenge these concepts dividing the identity of the living from the dead in a spiritual light. |
